We are a local and long established football club which provides a safe, fun environment for young people to enjoy the great game of football. The familiar red and white strips have been a regular sight at football pitches across Carlisle and beyond since the team was formed over 50 years ago, in 1970

We have a thriving Junior section (with teams from U7s through to U18s) which compete in the Carlisle Glass Youth Football League and the Cumbria Women’s League. The aim being to offer a clear pathway from junior small sided games all the way through to our senior team, whose past glories include a famous 4-0 Cumberland County Cup victory over Carlisle United at Brunton Park in 2003, as well as being former members of the Northern Football Alliance League

We currently have one open age team, Northbank 1970 who compete in the who play in the Carlisle Sunday League

All our coaches and assistants hold a valid FA DBS/CRB Certificate as well as FA Safeguarding and FA First Aid Certificates. All our team managers are, or are working towards, at least ‘FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate’ and/or ‘FA Playmaker’ and/or ‘FA Introduction to Football Coaching’ Certificates. Some have achieved ‘FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate’
